Soies Volantes: Flying Silk….or at least the Hermès ‘take’ on Chinese kites.

This is probably my favourite printed jacket–at least thanks to the colour story–a sugared pink with brilliant kites throughout the silk print.

In this case, the pre-Margiela team (see OLD label vs. NEW Label vs. Margiela label–and yes, it is better to know what you’re buying—this is one of the signs for apparel) kept the structure to a minimum, but the chinoiserie does read through the styling, and the quilting throughout lends it’s own flavour atop the print design.

Of course, none of this is complete without the requisite turtle kite from the Friendship Store. Talk about accessorizing……….Xie Xie

Of course, these sweet treats have just about your entire caloric allowance for one day enrobed (don’t you just LOVE that Madison Avenue lingo) in champagne frappé with creamy Swiss chocolate and dusted lovingly with powdered coating.

I generally eat about six before someone wrestles the green bag out of my hot little hands. Sometimes, they have to break out a taser.

Well, as if those fuzzy pink dice were not enough, we’ve rooted up more dashboard fare to equip that ‘67 Mustang of yours.

Plush Cherry (as opposed to Baby Cherry, Sporty Cherry, Posh Cherry, etc.) equipped with zip up compartments (and hey, Victoria doesn’t even have that…..well, that we know of…). A toy that you probably need desperately. Don’t forget the dog with the bobbing head. God forbid you can actually SEE out your rear view mirror.
