Chanel Tulipe Noire nail polish
Chanel Tulipe Noire –Not VAMPED enough?
Ever in the pursuit of wickedly goth nails, the cosmetic spin at Chanel is featuring a deep scarlet polish with gold leaf (elegant, isn’t it).
The summer palette features a powder blush (Narcisse–and you don’t even want to know how they say the name in Macy’s) in a rosy coral pink, and a trio of lip glosses that no one will ever really use, but, boy–they look cute on the counter. The usual suspects. (blush price: $48–face on husband when he gets the bill: priceless).

Fashion Afficionado Says:
I’ve seen it and it’s a difficult color to wear. I think Karl was trying to rope in the younger crowd, which he did successfully the previous season with Black Satin, #219. It’s either that or there are a whole lot of Goths all of a sudden willing to buy their nail polish at the Chanel counter.

Thin Enough to Be Karl's Muse Says:
I’ll take one of your Chanel posts when I can get it, Yumyum…Do you think perhaps that Tulipe Noire could pick up a glint of the garnet or amaranthe colors you mentioned earlier this month? I always think Karl has something up his sleeve…
