Goyard is on the move

Ooooh, the plot, as well as the Goyard range of crafted bags/luggage thickens. Formerly a mainstay at Barneys, Goyard has announced it’s grand opening of a specialty boutique at Bergdorf Goodman, New York.

Now, in San Francisco, you can hit Union Square and visit a free standing boutique in honour of the long appreciated French brand–GOYARD (not to mention viewing minions of well heeled ladies with totes and more structured signature pieces tucked beneath their Chanel cashmere coats)–however, East Coast fear not (Louis Vuitton, fear a lot) Goyard is on the Move.

Of course, Goyard does offer yet another alternative–unless your initials REALLY ARE LV. Goyard specializes in personalizing your bag (think Anya Hindmarch, but not as embarassing for someone over twelve) For a nominal fee (truly) and slight delay to produce, you can have YOUR NAME (or write “Brad”…well, whatever) all over the bag in a contrasting colour. This could be very interesting in an election year. Let’s hope no one has clued in Michael Moore.
