Have you had your black eyed peas?
Nothing like a few belated black eyed peas….(this is the South that I’m writing from…) according to a circa Civil War tradition, serving, eating (well, whatever) black eyed peas was supposed to ring in a lucky new year. Frankly, with a mother that actually cooked them (and don’t even ask about the collard green thing) from North Carolina, I felt any year without these babies was a good omen. That said, I attempted some research and determined that blackeyed peas also have a Caribbean recipe online (just swig the rum, trust me) and as a musical group are edging from pop to hip hop. Hope they sing better than they taste.
Okay kids, just have a good 2007.

I went out with a few pals on New Years Eve. No black eyed peas. No chicks, No fun. The bar had a projection tv system that was was excellent. But no chicks. Do you know anything about home projection tv systems?
Dan8855, take a look around. Do you realize you are on a fashion and style site? Don’t be a troll. -ST
Hey Snapper–Relax and go back in your shell. I wasn’t writing to you. Who said I was reading the site? I just look at the pictures. Okay? And, it’s Mr. Dan8855 to you ST(D)….and Cherry writes about more than dresses. You’ve got a problem. I just bought an IN FOCUS projection system at Circuit City. Now I’m looking for the stereo kit to do the home theatre set up. What’s wrong with that. Not cute enough for you. You hate men, don’t you turtle girl. FYI there are several models of the In Focus and the lower end has lousey definition.
