Yes, Hillary, in my case (or that of my hair) it DOES take a Village.
I generally pay homage to Sakai-san at least twice weekly while in Tokyo. As the trip wears on, my extensions wear out–so, let’s just say I’m thrilled to have someone as skilled (with as much patience) as “Yuta.”
It takes a solid two hour clip of time each session, but truly priceless (and, hey, at least I can sleep). He’s even given son Lucien a clip.
