Jemma Kidd for Target

Jemma (read that Jemima, Madam) Kidd’s Line of Cosmetics for Target…..Dare we discuss this with Neiman Marcus and Bergdorf Goodman online???

Jemma Kidd for Target

Yep, true. Jemma has brought her make up savvy to us commoners in the masses to Target. Truly a brilliant collection of some of her best selling staples for the higher end clientele at NM and BDG, this representative ensemble features eyeshadows, her staple mascaras, and blushers: New York and Paris are my faves. (Take a peek)

Jemma Kidd for Target

Well worth the effort, this collection is comparable to the fare that Ms. Kidd offers to the Upscale retail market (aka….SNAP IT UP GIRLFRIENDS….!) WOW…..we Love the features of Libertine, etc, that Target has solicited for their market. Go for it. This line up is solid.

Dominique Cohen

We first stumbled on the 18k rose gold creations by Dominique Cohen through Neiman Marcus.
They carry a range of her work in some of their boutiques (Tysons Corner, Virginia and Boca Raton, FL–to name a few).

She adds a dash of whimsy to many of the strands of gold and embellished pendants that she crafts.
It is rare to find artists that focus on rose gold–although it has become more popular in the past year–this has been a staple of Ms. Cohen’s for several years.

Just when we were recovering from the shock of Devi Kroell and Libertine at Target–behold:

Dominique Cohen’s holiday collection.
Wow.

While we didn’t succumb to the rapture of anything specific, we grooved to the concept.

The pearls enrobed in mesh silk were a bit too Lanvin to credit her own style, they appeared to be some of the more tasteful offerings in the case. Her bow earrings were a bit juvenile. Perhaps we did not catch the more comprehensive range of her production for Target (Tampa is not known far and wide as a fashion mecca)

However, we did see some items in what appeared to be a rose plated chain–along the lines of her more signature style. Best to stick with what she does in reality if you want to mix this in with some of the real deal. In any event, we continue to applaud the designers as well as Target for their creativity in branching out to all price points. Very cool.
