Devi Kroell for Target

Hollywood Hottie without the HILTON HEIR ‘Budget?’ (on the bright side, if you behave yourself, you don’t have to go to jail…..)

Devi Kroell aka Handbag maven (and CFDA winner) for the too, too Tony set is collaborating with Target to produce her edgy chic handbags (ostensibly in a much cheaper material than lizard or python) for the masses. That means the rest of us.

Featured fare at Barneys New York (Soon to be: Barneys Tokyo -OR DUBAI –play nice boys) as well as fashion ICON hub - Jeffrey New York (call Leslie Scott: 404-841-0215) you can do it Deluxe…OR save that extra $2500 for something else and still sport a genuine article.

Devi Kroell Roman totes in blue python and pink lizard metallic

We love her multi-coloured snake totes (available in two sizes), sweet fuschia lizard metallic, and the BIG copper-gold is 14 karat fun. Prices at Target for the range of clutches to Totes begin at 19.99 and end at $49.00. Buy a few since you’ll already be there trolling for Libertine. Premieres: 15 July (this Sunday).

YYCs Favorite Cancers: Sachiko

Sachiko: We miss your company, see you next month! Happy, Happy Birthday–we still owe you a slice of cake! (Just not at JJ’s this time….)

Patrick Robinson for Target

As I buy multi-packs of paper towels and gatorade (Thank you, Harvey Keitel) as I await the launch of the Libertine collaboration at Target, I swooped up some of what was obviously another designer that I SHOULD know (didn’t know, but hey, it was a sale)—

Patrick Robinson.

Patrick Robinson for Target skirts

His bio reads interesting for an American designer based in Paris. (He must know Rick Owens –you know, the assumption that all these US guys bunk together and speak poor French.)

Patrick Robinson for Target label

Okay, Mr. Robinson’s primary claim to fame (besides crafting a witty label for his brand(u) was turning Collezioni Armani into a more wearable product. Hey, don’t laugh, it’s a task on par with updating Escada (and no one with take that number on….Margeretha Ley, may she rest in peace.)

Patrick Robinson for Target oxford blue bubble skirt

I like the blue bubble skirt. (Hey, the paper towel pak and gator juice cost me more at checkout combined.)
