Pixi by Petra cosmetics
We first stumbled on Pixi’s line in New York’s Henri Bendel cosmetics floor about six years ago. Bendel’s used to be a haven for many newer, trendy make up brands looking to break through the retail market (much more than it is today).
A few weeks later while ambling along London’s Carnaby Street in London, we discovered their shop (flagship is a bit of a grand description for the place) and bumped into one of the proprietresses, Sarah, whom we had met weeks before in the US. We were treated to an excellent showing of the range of their line (two sisters who established this company).

Happily, after not seeing the products for several years, we did have the pleasant surprise of seeing their ‘diffusion’ line offered at Target (similar to that done by artists Jemima Kidd and Napoleon Perdis for the company).

Nice workable hues with several options per palette. Refreshing and affordable.
