Okay, one can extrapolate an idea. Sort of along the lines of George Harrison’s ‘My Sweet Lord / He’s So Fine’…….but I did wonder as I spied Mark Davis’ new ’square’ earrings if he wasn’t a bit “inspired” by Sharon Khazzam’s $5640 creation as he mulled through the jewelry concession dropping off his consigned wares to vend. Granted, Mark has put a rougher spin on Sharon’s finely crafted creations but it is a tad coincidental to anyone who shops Barneys (or their website online…for….well……jewelry).

Just a thought. Of course, it is a decent living and not all of what he does as an Artist. There is a world of inspiration awaiting you Mark–ride down to Canal Street.

VALEXTRA…….Okay, to me it sounds like a prescription drug to enhance male stamina (aka BOING)….but, Hark, it’s NOT.

I received a passport portfolio of theirs as the ‘Perk’ of Barneys’ New York at Holiday Time….translate that as either I (or Hubby) blew too much at their Flagship location. At least enough to warrant a nod from the Store’s Director.

I would have opted for a $20.00 gift card.

Nice leather. Worth the $825,000 we dropped? Probably Not–but, guess it’s the thought that counts.

Just Call Me #219.

Barbie Pink — as catalogued by Pantone — will make its debut at the special runway show that Mattel Inc. is staging during New York Fashion Week in February. Midge is wearing Chanel VAMP.

Fifty as-yet-undisclosed designers will produce Barbie-inspired outfits for the runway, and each of the 50 models will be wearing the pink Louboutins at the show. Gosh, I hope they all wear size 39’s that I can scoop up at a sale in March somewhere in the Fashion District………
