Reinvented in its clear with gold/silver or black detailing cousin for ‘07C, File this baby under “Instant Karma” (Thank you, John Lennon). Made with much more effort than the current sac du jour, we love the Bold gold hardware and avant guard spin way back when you could still get coffee for a buck a cup.

Of course, adrift in the ocean of cosmetic brands Harrod’s stocks–I recall stumbling across the Serge Lutens line, Nécessaire de Beauté, (their main perfume based fare is featured more front row, centre) in the same room that hosts REN Cosmetics and all those Alexandre de Paris overpriced barrettes. (Which, truth be known, is why I was there.)

I asked about a secreted case I saw stashed behind the Origins register, VOILA, Serge appears…c’est magie….Literally, the assistant guarding this box like it was a briefcase of plutonium ushers me to a private space to show me the mystery that is….Serge.

A Few of My Favourite things… (not that I’m bursting into song atop the Mountains of Austria) Naturally, this list changes almost as soon as it’s typed–oh FICKLE Heart….but do let us know at YYC if you find something AMAZING because we’re finding things everyday!!

LOVE, LOVE REN. I buy this botanical line in London–Harrod’s has a nice travel kit as an intro to the products. My fave, of course, is NOT sold through retail venues — with the exception of people on ebay who have pirated it from British Airways. Naturally, B/A has the exclusive rights to the fragrance.
