Two auctions to benefit climate protection

The iconic heavy metal band will make one lucky fan’s dream come true. In an effort to prevent the planet from “spontaneously combusting,” the cast members of the cult classic film This Is Spinal Tap, Christopher Guest, Michael McKean and Harry Shearer, along with Rob Reiner, will host a PRIVATE, EXCLUSIVE MEET-AND-GREET DINNER in Los Angeles for the highest bidder and a guest.

Meanwhile, just starting (and ending on July 18th) is an auction for a one of a kind customized Vespa scooter. As Auction Cause reminds us, at 70 miles per gallon average, a Vespa scooter is an eco-friendly way to curb global warming now. All proceeds benefit Live Earth and the Alliance for Climate Protection.
