YYC’s All Time Fave Jacket
I do see a LOT of Chanel in the course of my travels. Not to mention the privileged excavations of some of the best stock cedar lined closets in the world. But, whether appraising and admiring the culmination of Chanel goodies from some of the chicest ladies I know, or even plunking down in my own humble closet, there is ONE jacket that EVERYONE has on their MUST HAVE rail–Karl’s 1995A black and white ‘Snowflake’ jacket. Retail even in Fall of ‘95 was $3500. A signature blend of black boucle and white jots with cuffed sleeves and those requiste CC/logo black with white buttons:
Chic with EVERYTHING, this is the Grail of Karl’s Quest for Mme Coco–or so votes his army of fans armed with their Titanium American Express ‘BLACK’ cards. Of course, at this point, these jackets are not available in ANY Boutique. Happy Hunting.

I haven’t seen this beauty since, well this morning in my closet. You’re quite right, yumyum, this jacket is one of those special Chanel pieces that all the women I know either own or wish they did.

Oh MY GOD, I’ve been looking for this jacket for six years, everytime I find it, it’s too small or sold. This reads like a 40, is it available. My BLACK American Express card is ready yumyum (touche) and I want to shop now. Is there a best number to reach you and if you don’t take American Express can I pay you via wire transfer or cleared check–you get the funds then you ship to me. I can’t believe you have it, please call me 310-XXX.XXXX, ask for XXXXX.

The 95A Collection is all sugar & spice, and one of the sweetest is the Snowflake Jacket! To find one such as this which is in store bought condition, is a treat that no true believer can pass up. It is so CHANEL! I am proud to say that I am one of the privileged few who own
this delightful piece of history and when worn, it never goes without compliments. Thanks for sharing your photos! Your site is now bookmarked and will be part of my morning routine.

I’m still a bit tentative when it comes to Chanel but I think this jacket could do wonders for my silhouette — smarten it up a bit! Instead of snowflakes, I think of the night sky when I see this fabric. Its lovely.

The jacket is to die for, why doesn’t chanel re issue something like this that they know everyone would buy instead of some of the other stupid tweeds that keep resurfacimg like that pink and beige thing for cruise. It can’t be that impossible for chanel to find the fabric and they know this is a winner. I have seen this jacket twice. I saw it in Beverly Hills in a suit with back pockets and it was overkill, I also saw it double breasted in New York (old store). This is the best. Joan
