Hu’s Shoes, SHOULD BE YOUR SHOES….

Wow, what a little gem box of bootie tucked on M Street in Georgetown, DC (though we’ve heard that there is yet another location). Ambling through the boutiques–most of which have all the generic flair of Intermix, I had the surprise of stumbling upon the trove of yummy designer brand shoes and bags that are not the Usual Suspect.

McQueen, LeFlesh, T and Co, Martin Margiela –to name but a few–the Buy and Selection is excellent and the gals that own the Boutique– Marlene and Raquel –know their stuff.

How refreshing is that? Of course, I couldn’t resist the McQueen Novak in Slate/denim Python (still kicking myself that I passed on the now long gone Jumbo Novak–sorry KIM—in black with black patent detailing –see pic above). Still not too late to pick up a few choice black tie worthy Brian Atwood’s to trip the light fantastic on New Years’ Eve—Sales, Sales, Sales.
