And for a Flashback reminder of the Geneva Convention…..
Yosuke Nakamura, the African grey parrot, flew his coop and landed in the outskirts of Tokyo. Fortunately, Yosuke had been well-schooled by his owners and was able to give his name and address to the police who rescued him.
He apparently decided to confide in the Veterinarian treating him while in custody. When the police checked out the lead that the doctor relayed, they discovered that there indeed was a Nakamura family in his cited hometown.
He did better than I would have done. I’ve wandered lost through Tokyo for hours and no one has ever found MY Owner…..
