Congrats to Stella

Congrats to Stella McCartney and husband Alasdhair Willis on new baby daughter, Bailey, born December 8. Bailey joins brother Miller, who is one year old–and change (February 25).

Stella has markedly made efforts to incorporate wearable fashion into the fashion limelight. Pieces that a woman who does more than pose in white linen can wear with style.

Amazingly, she is one of the few designers that seems to treat their staff like an extended famly–she is known for taking her Bruton street gang to dine at the Ivy in London.

Her committment to animal rights parallels that of her late mother, Linda McCartney. Cheers, Stella. On the bright side, this may give her some respite from the pain she must be enduring as dad Paul attempts to extricate Heather Mills from his life without losing his fortune, baby Beatrice, and what’s left of his mind.
